Practice two

Corporate & Industrial Health

We set up Occupational Health Centres inside working plants, sized to your people and your hazards.

Why an OHC

Your nearest hospital is too far away.

When a burn, a fall or a chemical exposure happens on the shop floor, the outcome depends on what is within reach. A well-planned OHC stabilises the emergency, catches occupational illness early and keeps your health records in order.

Factories above certain sizes or in hazardous processes also carry statutory duties for on-site medical provision, under the Factories Act, the OSH Code and state rules. We help you plan for what applies to your site, and we recommend confirming the final requirements with your compliance advisor.

Our process

From hazard survey to first shift.

  1. Assess

Walk the site, map hazards, shifts and headcount, and review your statutory position.

  2. Plan

Set the right size and location, with a clear ambulance route and quick access from the shop floor.

  3. Build

New block, prefabricated unit or fit-out of an existing space, built around your plant’s operations.

  4. Equip

Emergency, diagnostic and pharmacy equipment selected, installed and tested on site.

  5. Commission

Protocols, registers and emergency drills in place, then a clean handover to your team.

Inside an OHC

A small building that does a lot.

Emergency care at one end with direct ambulance access. Routine health checks at the other, so workers can be examined and back on shift without crossing an emergency in progress.

Scale

Three starting points.

Your final specification comes out of the site assessment. These are the usual places to begin.

Compact

First-response room

For smaller units and satellite sites.

  • Treatment and first-aid room
  • Emergency drugs and oxygen
  • Examination area and records
  • Referral and transport plan

Standard

Full OHC

For established plants running multiple shifts.

  • Emergency room with resuscitation
  • Doctor consultation and observation
  • Vision, audiometry, spirometry, ECG
  • Pharmacy and health records

Campus

Plant medical centre

For large or high-hazard industrial campuses.

  • Multi-bed emergency and observation
  • Decontamination and burns care
  • Laboratory and X-ray
  • Ambulance bay and satellite first-aid posts

Who we serve

Built around your hazards.

A foundry needs burns care. A paint shop needs a plan for solvents. A noisy press line needs audiometry that can be trusted. Each centre starts from what could actually happen on your site.
